Position: Senior Odoo 19 Community Backend Developer

Location – Indore/ Ahemdabad

 Hiring | Senior Odoo 19 Community Backend Developer – Mobility / SAP Integration

We are looking for a Senior Odoo Backend Developer to join our Mobility technology team and work on a live, multi-country Odoo 19 Community + SAP integrated platform.

This is a hands-on backend engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex ERP, inventory and integration challenges — not simply Odoo configuration or functional support.

an experienced Odoo Backend Developer with strong Python, PostgreSQL, ERP and integration skills, and would like to work on a complex multi-country Mobility platform

You will be responsible for the backend development and technical support of Mobility processes covering:

• Sales Orders & Sales processing
  • Delivery / Good Issue / Dispatch
  • Inventory & Stock Movements
  • Stock Transfers
  • Warehouse / Plant / Location processes
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Odoo–SAP integration
  • API-based integrations
  • Transaction monitoring, reconciliation & troubleshooting

🔹 Technical Skills – Essential

We are looking for strong hands-on experience in:

• Odoo 19 Community Edition
  • Python
  • Odoo ORM & Framework
  • Custom Odoo module development
  • PostgreSQL / SQL
  • Odoo Sales & Inventory modules
  • REST APIs / Web Services
  • JSON / XML
  • Git / version control
  • Linux / server-side troubleshooting
  • Testing & debugging

🔹 SAP & Integration Experience

Experience in Odoo–SAP integration is highly preferred.

You should be comfortable working with:

• SAP field mapping
  • API/interface integration
  • Sales Order → Delivery → Good Issue / PGI flows
  • Stock Transfer / STO processes
  • Intercompany transactions
  • SAP response/error handling
  • Retry mechanisms
  • Duplicate prevention / idempotency
  • Transaction reconciliation
  • Reversal and cancellation scenarios

🔹 What we are looking for

The right person should be able to take a requirement through the complete lifecycle:

Business Requirement → Solution Design → Development → Integration → Testing → Deployment → Production Support

You should be comfortable investigating a transaction that is stuck between Mobility → Odoo → API → SAP, identifying the root cause and implementing a sustainable solution.

🔹 Experience

8-12 + years overall software development experience, with 8-6+ years of strong hands-on Odoo backend development.

Experience with Odoo 18/19, ERP, inventory, supply chain, trading, distribution or manufacturing environments will be highly relevant.

📍 Location

 India- Ahmedabad ( to relocate in future to Africa) or Kenya depending on candidate and business requirements.
