Job Role: Senior Manager – Collections

Experience: 9+ Years

Location: Mumbai (Andheri West)

About the role

Candidate shall design the SOP and process with different sourcing partners. He and She should have good communication skills to co-ordinate with colenders, LSP (sourcing) partners and external agencies. Design and implement collection strategies across different partner portfolios. It is more strategic thinker and process designer rather than ground level collection or handling collection executives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collection Strategy, Process & SOP Design

• Design and implement collection strategies across different partner portfolios

• Monitor portfolio performance and drive data-led decision making.

• Build and continuously improve collection processes and SOPs for various stakeholders

• Standardize workflows across LSPs (Strategic partners), Co-lenders, and agencies

• Drive automation and system-based tracking on platform

2. Stakeholder Management (Critical Role)

❖ Coordinate with:

➢ LSP / distribution partners

➢ Co-lenders / NBFCs / Banks

➢ Collection agencies

❖ Align on policies, performance metrics, and recovery approach

3. Portfolio Monitoring & MIS

• Track collections, roll rates, and recovery performance

• Build dashboards and MIS for management reporting

• Ensure data accuracy and actionable insights

4. Legal & Compliance Coordination

• Work with lawyer on recovery

• Tracking and follow up on each legal case

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Experience in process design & SOP creation.

• Excellent stakeholder management (partners, lenders, agencies)

• Strong communication to co-ordinate confidently and independently with all outside stakeholders.

• Excellent Excel / data handling skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced fintech and new age finance company.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Good communication skills

• SOP and Process designing experience.

Good-to-Have (Optional):

• Collection experience in fintech / digital lending environment will be preferred.
