Job Role: Senior Equity Research Analyst – Metals & Mining

Experience Required: 7+ years

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Sector Specialisation: Conduct exhaustive fundamental research on the Metals & Mining sector, covering base metals, precious metals, bulk commodities, and mining enterprises.
• Deep-Dive Analysis: Look past short-term market noise to build long-term, high-conviction investment theses backed by comprehensive financial modeling, forensic accounting, and scrupulous channel checks.
• Portfolio Contribution: Present differentiated investment ideas directly to Fund Managers across AIF, PMS, and MF structures (including our upcoming SIF framework).
• Network Building: Actively engage with corporate managements, industry experts, and supply chain participants to gain deep insights into global commodity cycles, domestic demand dynamics, and regulatory shifts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 7+ years of core equity research experience specifically tracking the Metals & Mining sector.
• Background: A strong buy-side background is preferred; however, exceptional sell-side talent with deep analytical rigor, independent thinking, and an investor mindset are highly welcome.
• Skills: Expert financial modeling skills, sharp strategic understanding of cyclical industries, global commodity pricing mechanisms, and superior communication skills.
