Position: Senior Equity Research Analyst – Automotive & Auto Ancillaries

Experience Required: 7+ years

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Sector Coverage: Comprehensive coverage of the automotive ecosystem, including Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, 2/3 Wheelers, EV innovators, and Auto Component manufacturers.
• Investment Ideation: Formulate robust, independent investment theses driven by long-term structural trends rather than quarterly earnings volatility.
• Financial Excellence: Build detailed operational and financial models, perform scenario analysis, and execute extensive field research/channel checks across dealers and suppliers.
• Collaboration: Seamlessly communicate high-conviction stock ideas and thematic reports to Fund Managers to enhance our investment strategies across AIF, PMS, and MF platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated equity research experience covering the Auto and Auto Ancillary sectors.
• Background: Buy-side experience is preferred, but strong sell-side professionals who bring a distinct passion for investing, original perspective, and intellectual depth will be strongly considered.
• Skills: Proficient in translating macro auto trends and regulatory metrics into accurate financial forecasts; excellent presentation and cross-functional team skills
