Job Role: Manager – Investor Relations & Equity Fundraising

Qualifications: CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred

Relevant Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Equity Fundraising, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or Corporate Finance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models covering revenue projections, profitability, cash flows, business forecasts, and scenario analysis.

• Company Valuation: Conduct valuations using DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and other relevant valuation methodologies.

• Equity Fundraising: Support and manage equity fundraising activities, including investor identification, preparation of fundraising materials, investor outreach, and transaction coordination.

• Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective investors, including private equity funds, venture capital firms, institutional investors, and other equity investors, as relevant to the business.

• Investor Presentations: Prepare pitch decks, investment teasers, financial models, valuation reports, information memorandums, and management presentations.

• Financial & Equity Analysis: Analyse financial statements, business performance, industry trends, competitors, and valuation benchmarks to support fundraising and investor discussions.

• Fundraising Execution: Coordinate investor meetings, due diligence, data-room management, financial information sharing, and follow-ups throughout the fundraising process.

• Financial Performance Reporting: Track key performance indicators, analyse actual performance against projections, and prepare periodic investor updates.

• Market Research: Monitor equity markets, industry developments, investor appetite, and comparable company valuations to identify fundraising opportunities.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with senior management, finance, legal, and external advisors to facilitate fundraising transactions and ensure accurate investor communication.

• Miscellaneous: Undertake any other requirements, responsibilities, and activities related to equity fundraising as and when required.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in financial modelling and company valuation.

• Practical exposure to equity fundraising and investor management.

• Strong understanding of DCF, comparable company analysis, financial forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.

• Experience preparing investor pitch decks, valuation reports, financial models, and fundraising documentation.

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Requirement:

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in financial modelling, company valuation, and equity fundraising will be preferred. Exposure to private equity transactions, institutional investors, and investment banking is an added advantage.
