Job Role: Audit & Assurance (Statutory Audit – Experienced)

Experience: CA Fresher

Location: Mumbai – Andheri (West)

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant Experience: 3-5 years post-qualification

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for listed companies, large private companies, and NBFCs/banks (as applicable), from planning through completion

• Review work performed by article assistants and junior team members; provide technical guidance and on-the-job mentorship

• Apply and review complex Ind AS positions — revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, consolidation, business combinations

• Draft and finalise CARO 2020 reporting, audit reports, and management letters

• Manage client relationships, including audit committee or board-level communication where required

• Ensure engagements comply with the Standards on Auditing, firm quality-control standards, and internal methodology

• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and team resourcing

• Identify and escalate significant audit risks, technical positions, and red flags to partners

• Contribute to client relationship development and, where relevant, business development

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI), approximately 5 years post-qualification experience in audit & assurance

• Demonstrated experience leading fieldwork — not just executing it — on listed-company or large private company statutory audits

• Strong, hands-on working knowledge of specific Ind AS standards and their practical application

• Experience reviewing and managing article assistants or junior staff

• CARO 2020 clause drafting and review experience

• Progressive career growth within firm(s) of comparable or larger scale
