Role Overview & Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our specialized Financial Modelling and Valuation team. This critical role is responsible for the development of complex financial models, supporting strategic decision-making across the entire deal value chain. The Analyst will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients to provide deep analytical insights and robust financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and build comprehensive three-statement integrated financial models, including detailed forecasting and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
β’ Execute complex valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, comparable company analysis (Relative Valuation), Leveraged Buyout (LBO) modeling, and MergerΒ Acquisition (M&A) modeling.
β’ Analyze and interpret financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements), with a specific focus on calculating Free Cash Flow (FCF) and Funds from Operations (FFO) for both public and private entities.
β’ Develop intricate capital structure and debt amortization schedules (tranche-wise), including pro forma adjustments for acquisitions.
β’ Prepare and deliver clear, high impact financial reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
β’ Support financial planning and budgeting cycles by conducting thorough scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in finance, Accounting, or Mathematics; CA, CFA preferred.
β’ 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in a Financial Modeling, Valuation, Investment Banking, or similar analytical role.
β’ Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software, including advanced functions, charting, and experience with macros and VBA.
β’ Solid understanding of core accounting principles and foundational knowledge of financial analysis terminology.
β’ Proficiency in databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ (CapIQ), Thomson Reuters, and FactSet.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to synthesize and extract meaningful insights from large, complex data sets.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
β’ Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing decisions and leading client interactions.
β’ Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and precision in all deliverables.
