Job Title : Chartered Accountant (Audit & Assurance)
Experience: 1 to 2+ Years
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1+ years of experience in core audit functions to join our Audit & Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to audits across listed and private companies and demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Statutory Audits for public and private companies in compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable regulations.
2.Execute Internal Audits to evaluate operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and identify cost- saving opportunities.
3.Perform bank audits, including Statutory Bank Branch Audits, Concurrent Audits, Stock Audits, Third-Party Audits, and Income Leakage Audits.
4.Carry out Tax Audits as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act.
5.Conduct VAT Audits in accordance with applicable state VAT regulations.
6.Assist in audits empanelled with CAG for government organizations.
7.Participate in Special and Investigative Audits, including assignments related to mergers, amalgamations, and official liquidations.
8.Prepare audit reports, documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Work Exposure:
- Audit of listed and private companies across diverse sectors.
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
