Job description
- Supporting investment banking firms on various products such as pitch books, bench marking analysis, company comparable, precedent transaction analysis, databases & screening, industry studies, ad-hoc research, etc
- Responsibilities includes allocating work, running quality checks on deliverables, training and guiding team members, maintaining efficiency, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and internal client communication
- Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritizing them
- Strong strategic management capabilities with highly developed analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions
- Provide effective, on-time and objective and feedback to team members; provide effective/constructive feedback for their overall grooming and development
- Handling ad hoc research / Recurring requests as per client requirements
Skill Set Required
- Strong Accounting and financial skills
- Good MS Office Skills
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
- Knowledge of database tools – Factset, Thomsonone, Capital IQ, Factiva, and bloomberg
- Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firms goals & mission
- Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working
Education and experience
- Graduate from a reputed institute (Btech, BA, BBA, BBE, Bcom, etc) or/and MBA (Finance), Master’s degree with
- majors in economics or accounting or Chartered Accountant or CFA or any equivalent degree
- 5 -8 years of relevant experience
