Project Management:


• Proven track record of conducting secondary research, designing research strategy, interpreting, and analysing information for accuracy, exhaustiveness, and applicability in resolving research problem
• Building understanding of each on-going project and guiding team members to achieve greater output. Active participation on client calls to make the project delivery seamless and to build an effective communication flow
• Expertise in handling multiple project teams and playing the role of a problem solver to them
• Adroit in workflow management / triaging
• Ability to connect the dots and derive insights
• Ability to translate client objectives into clear deliverables with associated priorities and constraints;
ability to estimate the effort required in a project to ensure efficient utilization of resources
• Develop solutions to problems, balancing the risks and implications across multiple projects People Management:
• Project lead with complete responsibility of project delivery for complex and challenging projects in
addition to the regular role of being the point of contact for all projects
• Capable of managing a team of 10+ Analysts/ Sr Analyst with responsibilities including steering the team in the right direction, and ensuring all work is aimed at meeting client objectives
• Motivating each of the team members to perform their best and handle client queries independently

Client Management:


• Identify opportunities to provide value-adds on the existing workstream to clients
• Manage client communication on projects, deliverables etc. and strengthen the relationship
• Be on top of identifying opportunities and act as a solutions provider


Technical skills:

• Should be familiar with the mainstream technical routes and development trends in the field of financial technology such as big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), block-chain, etc. Knowledge of the trends and transformation happening in the banking and insurance domain due to FinTech disruption
• Should have ability to understand and synthesize data and derive meaningful insights out of the proprietary data and outside data sources
• Curation of industry leading innovative trends across FinTech clusters and sectors
• Conduct data driven research and authoring articles and reports based on client’s proprietary data and outside data sources on FinTech domains such as InsurTech, Payments, wealth management, digital banking RegTech etc.
• Should have experience in writing thought leadership, creating Point of Views across multiple client segments on digital transformation, digital reinvention, and other digital related topics
• Knowledge of key databases such as Capital IQ, Eikon, Factiva, FactSet, PitchBook, Crunchbase,
Dealroom etc.


Skill Set Required:

• Seasoned research professional with a strong focus on FinTech research including professional
services
• Should take a lead in taking client calls and workshops and eventually co -lead modules leveraging
the proprietary data assets and deploying specific methodologies
• Should have experience in creating reports on new trends, new topics, regulations, etc. focusing
on overall impact on Financial Services sector
• Should have experience on working on research assignments and content pieces wi th a special
focus on financial technology domain
• Should be able to guide and provide inputs to client/team members leading to the successful
execution of digital strategy and related engagements
• Updated with current events in the industry and ability to identify key trends shaping the industry.
• Understanding of industry standard processes and methodologies
• Understanding of the industry regulatory environment
• Highly adept in understanding business issues and translating them into research priorities.
• Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner

Education and Experience:

• The right candidate should have worked for 8-10 years with a reputed firm in Research and Analysis profile preferably for professional services clients
• Good knowledge on research databases and Latest MS Office tools is required
• Graduate/Postgraduate
