Job Description:
We currently have a dedicated team working for the Business Intelligence and Marketing Strategy team of a US based Fortune 100 asset management firm. The team works on complex assignments ranging from detailed industry reports, in-depth competitor profiles, providing strategic insights on upcoming trends, competitive insights, etc. The team is closely integrated with the client and engages with their senior subject matter experts on a continuous basis on existing projects as well as potential areas of collaboration. This role will require the analyst to engage senior members of the client team in meaningful discussions on the impact of key events on the sector, issue analysis, etc. The key aspects of the role include:
• Industry Factbooks: Preparing strategic presentations providing an in-depth view of the client’s target industry, covering various topics including industry trends, competitive landscape, future outlook, strategic initiatives etc.
• Competitor Profiles: Conducting an in-depth analysis of each competitors’ business, strategy, and performance
• Providing Competitive/Strategic Insights: Tracking key developments in the target client segments and drawing out their potential impact on the sector and the requisite changes in client’s strategy
• Knowledge Development: Driving knowledge development and conducting knowledge sharing sessions for the team
Requirements:
• Ability to draw insights from available information and unstructured data
• Ability to understand the link between client needs, data, and its application
• Ability to work independently on strict deadlines, eye for details
• Team player with an ability to work in challenging situations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills
• Innovative thinker with solution-oriented approach
Education and Experience
• University degree from a reputed institute with 3 – 5 years of advanced research experience. Master’s
degree will be an additional advantage
• Experience in the financial services domain and understanding of asset management industry would be
preferred
